He Brought Them Safely into Harbor
4 Some wandered in the wilderness, lost & homeless
10 Some sat in darkness & deepest gloom imprisoned in iron chains of misery
11 They rebelled against the Words of God, scorning the counsel of the Most High
17 Some were fools; they rebelled & suffered for their sins
18 They couldn't stand the thought of food, & they were knocking on death's door.
23 Some went off to sea in ships, plying the trade routes of the world
26 Their ships were tossed to the heavens & plunged again to the depths; the sailors cringed in terror
27 They reeled & staggered like drunkards & were a their wits' end.
6; 13; 19: 28 "Lord, help!" they cried in their trouble, & He saved them from their distress.
20 He sent out His Word & healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
14 He led them from the darkness & deepest gloom; HE SNAPPED THEIR CHAINS
29 He calmed the storm to a whisper & stilled the waves
30 What a blessing was that stillness as HE BROUGHT THEM SAFELY INTO HARBOR!
If a man know not what harbor he seeks,
is the right wind
Roman Philosopher Seneca
The Bible is God's Chart for you to steer by,
to keep you
from the bottom
of the sea
& to show you
where the harbor is,
& how to reach it without running
on rocks or bars.
Henry Ward Beecher
A Christ-Centered Ministry
A safe harbor for the hurting
A place of shelter; a refuge
A place where you can belong
A place where you will be loved & accepted
A place where respect is given
A place to learn about God’s forgiveness & deliverance
A place to grow & become strong again
A place that’s honest & real, where there are no masks
A place where the past is left behind & your future is spotless
A place where there are healthy challenges.
A place of life turning points into restoration & recovery
A place where the Word can set you free
A place where the Holy Spirit abounds
A place where Jesus Christ is the way, the truth & the life.
& whom He sets free is free indeed.
A place where God has made a way, where there seems to be no way
It is not
A place for selfish control
A place of perfection
A place to be judge or judge others
A place of self-righteousness
